Well loved HERTZ "Habit makers New York" bowler that is cork, not plastic. It has wear but it still shaped well the ribbon trim is frayed but the wool is in excellent shape for the age.
It has some pencil writing inside. see photos.
And the original wearer’s name. Miss Ruth Wickwire. (I think)
It is made in England and is for English riding, dressage or sidesaddle.
