Vintage Jockey Helmet Cap Velvet Horse Riding Hat EQUESTRIAN Decor Rain Coat Box

Description

Here is a vintage velvet riding helmet cap. It has been well worn and loved and is now ready to sit upon a shelf in retirement as a unique decor / display piece.
Specifics:
Color of Hat - Brown
Size of Hat - Guessing it is a 6 7/8 since the box states that size for what I believe would have been the new hat.
Condition of Hat - Very worn and loved. Some tearing and the velvet is worn off the top piece. The underside of the bill is loose. Not useable as a riding hat. See photos.
Rain Coat - Size Medium, Good condition with some ink stain or something along the bottom. May come out, I didn't try to clean.
Box - I believe this box is for the new hat the owner bought when this loved hat got so worn. He tucked the vintage treasure in the new hat box and it has probably been sitting on the closet shelf for years!
